Prince was preparing to take over Hollywood last night with a secret show at the Sayers Club. We’re told that despite attempts to keep the performance with Prince and his band hush-hush, the much-buzzed-about appearance before an audience of just 200 was instantly sold out, with a celeb-heavy crowd expected including C
hristina Aguilera, Dita Von Teese, will.i.am, Adam Levine, Nicki Minaj and music world honchos including blogger Dr. Funkenberry. The show, presented by LA party maestro Jason Scoppa, was expected to go on after Prince performed on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” followed by a mini-concert outside the Kimmel studio on Hollywood Boulevard.
