Maybe she’ll write a song about it. Heartbreak hit woman Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy’s summer romance is over, according to a report.
“They quietly parted ways a while ago,” a friend of the country singer told Us Weekly. “It was just a distance thing. No hard feelings. They’re fine.”
With the recent release of her new album “Red,” Swift’s romance with Kennedy reportedly went on the back burner due to her busy promo schedule.

“It’s been over a month since they’ve even seen each other,” Swift’s friend tells Us Weekly. “With her promotion for ‘Red,’ she has no time off until the end of the year.”
The news comes as a bit of a jolt after reports of the 22-year-old crooner purchasing a seven-bedroom, five-bathroom home in the Kennedy family’s Hyannis Port neighborhood.
Swift even had the seal of approval from Ethel Kennedy. “I’m happy that we’ll be neighbors. I’m thrilled,” the Kennedy matriarch said. “She is just spectacular; she is just sensational…She’s very kind.”
Additionally, a Kennedy source told Page Six in October that Taylor and Conor “are totally in love.”
The pair had began their summer fling in July, when the Grammy winner was spotted canoodling with the 18-year-old at the Kennedy family compound in Hyannis Port.
We are told they are apart because Conor is currently back at school.
