Robin Williams couldn’t be contained in a single episode of David Steinberg’s Showtime interview show “Inside Comedy.” “We connected and had fun, and then had offers to get onstage and extend what we did,” the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” director told us of his touring live show with Williams in which the two chat about topics including comedy, Williams’ life and Hollywood. “My improv skills are invaluable,” joked Steinberg, adding, “An outline is the enemy of the way Robin thinks.” Their “Talking About Nothing That Important” lands at the 92nd Street Y as part of the New York Comedy Festival Nov. 11.
