Page Six reported this week that Lil Wayne was involved in a confrontation on the sidelines after DirecTV’s Celebrity Beach Bowl Saturday afternoon. Here’s what went down.
At the post-game trophy presentation, a cameraman panned to Lil Wayne and completely set off the star, who had to be held back by security.
“Look at me, motherf–ker,” Lil Wayne could be heard saying in the footage. “Look at me when you apologize.”
In a later interview with E! News, Weezy went off again saying that the cameraman had pushed him, “and uh… I don’t like to be touched by people I don’t tell to touch me so… I’m gonna get out of the building because if I touch somebody, I go to jail because they not the color of me.”
He continued, to the dismay of the reporter, “They’re not the same color I am so you know how that go. But, to them f–k you.”
Lil Wayne was perhaps a little on edge after his team had lost the celeb-filled flag football game over the weekend.
Other stars in the game included Snoop Lion, model Chrissy Teigen, Chace Crawford, Maria Menounos, Derek Jeter’s girlfriend Hannah Davis, Jenny McCarthy, Matt Bomer, Artie Lange and former NY Giants Jesse Palmer and Amani Toomer.
