The love triangle of Karrueche Tran, Chris Brown and Rihanna came to not one but two awkward meet-ups in La La Land hot spots in one week.
Tran showed up to Rihanna’s night out with Chris Brown at Greystone Manor just a week after the singer stopped by Trans’s own Rolling Out cover party at Playhouse. (Rihanna, meanwhile, is on the cover of the current Rolling Stone magazine.)
The controversial “Nobody’s Business” duet partners were partying with Ne-Yo, Wiz Khalifa, Soulja Boy and Afrojack on Feb. 3. When Tran showed up on the arm of a new guy, the couple bolted from the club shortly after, HollywoodLife reported.
Rihanna was reportedly unbothered by Tran’s arrival at the club. “Rihanna has no reason to be uncomfortable no matter where she goes, believe that,” an insider says to the gossip site. “She saw Chris’ piece in the club, but it wasn’t nothing crazy or nothing awkward at all. She didn’t go and speak or no s–t like that. She just paid that girl and the whole situation like taxes.”
A different source claims to HollywoodLife that Tran’s presence caught Brown off guard, and left the club because he wanted to avoid conflict.
“Chris didn’t know KT was going to be at the function and if he did, he wouldn’t have even gone there,” the source says.
Rihanna recently opened up about her reconciled relationship with Brown. The “Diamonds” singer told Rolling Stone that dating Brown makes her happy and “if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake.”
“I decided it was more important for me to be happy,” she says in the interview. “I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of that. Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.”
