Eric Schmidt’s top Google lieutenants arrived in Austin, Texas, for SXSW in style.
Google Ideas director Jared Cohen and chief of staff Daniel Keyserling, flew in on a private Google jet, according to tech blog Valleywag.
Schmidt and Cohen, whose Ideas division serves as a “think tank” for tech research, last year co-authored the book “The New Digital Age.”
Also aboard Air Google was Ruzwana Bashir, the CEO of the upcoming travel web site Peek.
Both Schmidt and Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey have invested in Peek, and the company announced another $5 million in funding last week.
Bashir, who has a Harvard MBA, is a tech darling, having worked at Gilt Groupe before founding Peek in 2012.
