The Rose Bar Sessions, a series of secret shows for a hand-picked crowd of 100 at the Gramercy Park Hotel’s exclusive venue, will next host a performance by singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright. But the date’s a strict secret. A spy said, “Not even hotel staff know when it is.” When Page Six revealed last month’s performance by Guns N’ Roses, the place was flooded with more than 5,000 calls from people trying to get on the list. Those who made it included Mickey Rourke, Josh Lucas, Ryan Phillippe and Sophia Bush. Meanwhile, hotel owner Ian Schrager told us that Danny Meyer‘snew concept for the rooftop restaurant will debut this spring.
