Suit: client ‘poached’ from Zampolli

Paolo Zampolli, who went from the modeling business to real estate, is suing real estate brokerage Massey Knakal for a $212,500 commission he claims he’s owed. Zampolli says the firm poached his client, Italian fashion mogul Cristina Calori, who was looking for a building in Manhattan to handle distribution and sales for her Bologna-based WP Lavori, which licenses several brands. After she was shown several buildings, Calori ended up in contract to buy 31 Bond St. — which was listed with Massey Knakal — for $8.5 million. Zampolli wants the court to hold his share of the commis sion in escrow until the case is resolved.
