Jennifer Lawrence is on top of the world but lately the Oscar-winning actress has been feeling overwhelmed with her sudden rise to fame.
“I’m just really starting to feel like a monkey in a zoo. I teeter on seeming ungrateful when I talk about this, but I’m kind of going through a meltdown about it lately,” she said in the September issue of Vogue.
The “Silver Linings Playbook” star confessed to the fashion mag that it’s been a constant struggle to adjust to the new direction her life is going.
“It’s just that I’m still getting used to everything. It still makes me a little emotional, just to see how quickly everything kind of changes … that it changes so fast,” said the “Hunger Games” actress.
J-Law hopes to return to her hometown in Kentucky this year after shooting “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” in Montreal. The spotlight, she says, will hopefully be easier to manage by then.
“I think eventually, one of these days, I guess when the next franchise starts and I’m not in it, and the new Jennifer Lawrence is born, then I’ll be able to go outside,” she told Vogue.
