Ashton Kutcher appeared to address his critics and any negative reviews of his movie “Jobs” during a speech in LA Tuesday. He spoke of his role as Apple founder Steve Jobs at an American Harvest Organic Spirit screening, saying “In a world where everyone is a critic and everyone has megaphones they can judge you with, it gets even scarier because your friends and family can watch you fail and then talk about it,” he said of the courage it took him to take the role. “And people you don’t know who are already predisposed to not liking you are really going to talk about it. And then you just feel like a failure and then you have to pick yourself back up and go again.” Kutcher continued by saying that when you take a risk on something, “The reward when you actually do pull it off is extraordinary.” When he had finished, co-star Josh Gad took the mike and joked, “I now feel really badly about the review I wrote about you tonight. I hope it doesn’t get published.” We reported the movie release was delayed after mixed reviews when it premiered at Sundance in January, with insiders saying they needed more time to put together marketing materials.
