Anna Wintour is reportedly “warning” Becker against throwing raucous parties at the Jamaican-themed restaurant he’s planning to open near Wintour’s Sullivan Street townhouse, according to blog PX This. A rep for the Vogue editor in chief said, “It’s not just Anna Wintour who has voiced concerns, but in fact many people in the neighborhood.” Becker couldn’t be reached. Earlier this month, Barnard professor Georgette Fleischer got La Esquina shuttered after filing multiple noise complaints, but it has since reopened.
