Marc Anthony’s ex-wife was driven out of her Los Angeles neighborhood by a bullhorn-toting woman who accused the former beauty queen of adultery, the singer claims in court documents.
Former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres, who was married to Anthony before his union to Jennifer Lopez, wants child-support payments from the “I Need to Know” singer increased from $13,000 a month to $113,000 a month, according to the celebrity gossip website TMZ.
In his response, Anthony, 45, said Torres, 39, and their two kids now live in a small San Fernando Valley apartment because she was shamed out of her previous digs by a scorned woman.
Torres sold her house at a big loss because she couldn’t deal with a woman who took to her sidewalk “with a bullhorn yelling ‘whore’ for the whole neighborhood to hear,” Anthony claims.
The woman was reportedly upset with Torres for allegedly having an affair with her husband.
Anthony claims the harassment was reportedly so severe, he sent his own security guards to Torres’ place.
In her response, Torres said Anthony’s bullhorn story is “argumentative, improper opinion, lack of foundation, speculation.” But she stopped short of calling it untrue, according to TMZ.
Anthony and Torres were married from May 2000 to early 2004.
The multi-time Grammy and Latin Grammy winner went on to marry Lopez in June 2004 before they split eight years later.
