The Oscar nominations almost caused in-flight havoc on Thursday.
A woman passenger frightened others on a flight to Salt Lake City when she started screaming after learning two documentaries on which she’d worked had been nominated.
“She was shrieking,” says our spy. “A flight attendant jumped. Everyone was alarmed at first, but then started applauding. They brought her a glass of champagne.”
The woman was not identified, but Radius-TWC got nominations for both “Cutie and the Boxer” and “20 Feet From Stardom.”
