Hairdresser to the stars Sally Hershberger hit with $140,000 tax lien

Sally Hershberger, the hairstylist to the stars who at one point charged $800 for a trendy shag haircut, has been cutting corners on her taxes. The IRS just slapped her with a federal tax lien of $140,748. Hershberger owns salons in LA, Chelsea and the Upper East Side and has her own line of hair care products. “We are aware that a lien has been put into effect and have been in touch with the IRS since March 2010 to resolve the outstanding balance and expect this to be settled shortly,” said her accountant in a statement.
