“30 Rock” had big plans for its 100th episode airing on April 20. The team led by star and executive producer Tina Fey was hoping to land an appearance by Bill Clinton. “They hoped he would appear next week to shoot the episode,” an insider said. “They included him on the call list, but it didn’t happen.” Regis Philbin and Sherri Shepherd were also named as possible guests. Sources said Fey wrote to Clinton advisor Doug Band asking the ex-prez to come on. A Clinton rep said, “The request was made and immediately denied without asking him.”
