Mick Jagger and Brian Grazer are location-shooting their James Brown biopic “Get On Up” in Mississippi.
They’ve been shooting at the Coliseum in Jackson, recreating the 1968 Boston Garden scene after Martin Luther King was killed, where Brown calmed the near-rioting audience.
Chadwick Boseman plays Brown in the movie, which also stars Dan Aykroyd and opens Aug. 1.
But it’s not all hard work — Wednesday night, Jagger, Grazer and Aykroyd had a celebratory dinner with Anthony Bourdain.
