Katie Couric has signed a deal to be on “Glee.” The “CBS Evening News” anchor will make a guest appearance as herself on the hit Fox musical comedy series, a source told us, adding, “The deal is done, and Katie will make a cameo as herself. It will be filmed very soon.” Couric is expected to appear alongside sharp-tongued cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, played by Jane Lynch. And it’s believed it will be in the much-hyped post-Super Bowl episode, which will air after the game on Feb. 6. Other celebrities who have appeared on “Glee” include Britney Spears, Olivia Newton-John and Gwyneth Paltrow. Couric recently criticized “Glee” stars Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Dianna Agron for provocative poses in the November issue of GQ. But Couric has confessed she’s a “Gleek” and regularly watches with her teenage daughter. Her rep declined to comment and Fox didn’t get back to us.
