Although Usher, Alicia Keys and Lady Gaga all earned Grammy nominations on Wednesday, none of them could tweet their excitement over the honors. That’s because they all signed up for the Keys-led campaign for World AIDS Day, where celebrities inlcuding Kim and Khloe Kardashian and Justin Timberlake died a “digital death” and signed off Twitter and Facebook. Followers can “buy” the celebrities’ “lives” back by texting donations to Keys’ charity, Keep a Child Alive. Gaga, who has nearly 7 million Twitter followers, and others will go back online once the effort has raised $1 million.
