Top fashion model and Karl Lagerfeld muse Heidi Mount has defended her hairstylist husband, Shawn Mount, saying he was wrongly accused of sexually assaulting another model at London’s fashion week. Heidi is standing by Shawn after the “false” accusation made by a 24-year-old model in September. British police say no action is being taken against him. She told us in a statement, “We are still together. Nothing about these false accusations has changed our relationship.” Shawn was questioned by police after a woman claimed an incident took place at a London hotel on Sept. 20. Both she and Mount were working at London fashion week. No charges have been filed against him, and a Scotland Yard spokesman said, “No further action will be taken.” Mount said, “I am so relieved that this is over. I have always maintained my innocence.” Heidi — who replaced Claudia Schiffer as the face of Chanel in 2009, models for Dolce & Gabbana and has walked in shows for Michael Kors, Dior, Givenchy and Valentino — married Shawn in 2007.
