Ryan Seacrest was spotted having a power brunch with NBC chairman Ted Harbert and his wife Lisa Harbert at Bagatelle Sunday.
Seacrest, who reportedly signed a contract with the network in April that will allow him to contribute to “Today” as well as Olympics, election and special event coverage, was overheard “chatting about business” with the Harberts for most of the afternoon.
“They were discussing their 2014 plans for him at NBC,” says the spy. But it wasn’t all business. We’re told the group jokingly debated ordering a 6-liter bottle of champagne, but Seacrest mentioned he couldn’t change his flight that day and would have to forego a full-on boozy brunch. “He really wanted to relax and stay but he had to catch his flight,” said a spy.
Seacrest hosted “The Million Second Quiz” on NBC in September and continues to front Fox’s “American Idol,” his radio show at Clear Channel, and will host ABC’s “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.”
