Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes, wife to divorce

Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes and his wife, Peggy, are divorcing after 20 years of marriage, Page Six can exclusively reveal.

Early last summer, the couple mutually agreed to separate after 20 years together. They remain on friendly terms and are thought to be working toward a final divorce settlement.

Sources say the split is entirely amicable and Bewkes moved in to a house in their Greenwich, Conn., neighborhood near his wife and son last June.

We’re further told that divorce papers are expected to be filed in Connecticut family court next week. This was Bewkes’ second marriage.

According to Forbes, Bewkes, 61, who has been Time Warner chairman and chief executive since 2009, earned a total compensation package of $25.9 million in 2011 and $25.6 million in 2012. He is said to be worth over $100 million.

Peggy Brim Bewkes is a writer, director and producer in television and film journalism. A Yale graduate, she joined ABC Sports as a journalist. She became a producer for ABC News, where she worked on “20/20” for which she won an Emmy Award. She was also a senior assistant to Roone Arledge.

Peggy is also a third-term member of the Yale President’s University Council and the Chair of the Dean’s Council of the Yale School of Medicine.
