Lawyers for Kim K, Humphries head to court

Only days shy from what would have been their one-year anniversary, Kim Kardashian’s and Kris Humphries’ legal teams will head to court today to make a decision about their divorce case. Their lawyers will have to tell the judge about what they have done to settle the case or prepare for trial.

Humphries refuses to settle even though he signed an iron-clad prenuptial agreement that will leave him with nothing after their 72-day marriage, aside from the dollars banked from his “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” appearances and their wedding special, according to TMZ. His $24 million dollar Nets contract will also remain untouched.

Humphries’ team are reportedly unprepared for the trial and have not taken Kardashian’s deposition even though the case is today.

It’s thought that the judge will not want to prolong the case, and will force him to decide on his next course of action despite his reluctance to settle.

If the basketball player continues to claim their marriage as “fraud” the judge is likely to send the case to trial.

Kardashian allegedly wants to finalize her divorce as soon as possible.
