Stallone: Loss of son ‘agonizing’

Sylvester Stallone says the loss of his son, Sage, is “agonizing.”

The “Rocky” star spoke out to TMZ today, after Sage Stallone’s body was found by the LAPD at his home on Friday.

“When a parent loses a child there is no greater pain,” Sylvester said. “Therefore, I am imploring people to respect my talented son’s memory and feel compassion for his loving mother Sasha.”

Stallone added: “This agonizing loss will be felt for the rest of our lives… Sage was our first child and the center of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son’s memory and soul left in peace.”

Sage was 36, and the son of Stallone and Sasha Czack.

LAPD officers found Sage dead when they went to his home for a “welfare check” on Friday, after friends and family couldn’t get in touch with him. Police say the case has been referred to the Los Angeles coroner, as there was no criminal activity involved.
