The Olympic athlete known as “Blade Runner,” Oscar Pistorius, may strongly deny having an unfair advantage on the track. But he’s definitely got an edge in the dating game: The South African runner has been seeing Russian supermodel Anastassia Khozissova.
Sources tell us Pistorius — the double-amputee who’s qualified to run the 400 meters at the London Games — and Khozissova, the beautiful top model who’s graced the catwalks for Chanel, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Giorgio Armani and Marc Jacobs, have been “dating for just over a month.”
We hear the pair first met in New York. They were spotted recently holding hands while out and about in Chelsea, spies said.
We’ll see if Khozissova’s in the stands in London later this month. A report earlier this year said Pistorius had broken off a relationship with a longtime girlfriend.
Pistorius, “the fastest man on no legs,” is also running in the 4×400 relay in London as the first amputee track athlete to compete in any Olympics. Some in the sport have accused him of having an unfair advantage thanks to his prosthetic J-shaped, carbon-fiber blades. A court cleared him to compete against able-bodied runners in 2008.
Oscar has obviously got a serious game off the track, too. Stunning Khozissova, is ranked as the world’s third-top model on Web site Modelinia, ahead of Victoria’s Secret Angels Doutzen Kroes and Candice Swanepoel.
Willowy blonde Khozissova is also an expert in balance and graceful movement. She’s an instructor of the Maybelline Stiletto Boot Camp, which shows women how to walk in sky-high heels, and also helps teach young models at her agency how to strut on the runway.
She’s also been a face of Valentino and Karl Lagerfeld, while Pistorius has appeared in fragrance ads for Thierry Mugler.
Khozissova’s agency, Trump Model Management, didn’t respond to calls for comment. Pistorius’ rep couldn’t be reached.
