The supermodels of yesteryear proved they’re just as beautiful today at the Paley Center screening of HBO’s doc “About Face: Supermodels Then and Now.” Pat Cleveland, now 60, who rose to fame in the late ’60s, recalled wild nights at Studio 54. “One night I had to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to Steve Rubell. Stevie Wonder was there,” she said. “The guys in the Police fell asleep on the steps and I was stepping over them in high heels.”

DIRTY SECRETS OF THE SUPERMODELS

Model Nancy Donahue, 54, also recalled partying at the disco. “Patti Hansen took my shoes,” she said of Keith Richards’ model wife taking a pair of $500 heels. “She took them and threw them in the middle. I went home with no shoes.” But no hard feelings: “We were stoned. We didn’t care. I went out and bought another pair.” Also at the screening: Carmen Dell’Orefice, Gay Talese, Carol Alt and Beverly Johnson. Asked what she missed about the era, Johnson replied, “The money. It’s almost worth trying to lose 30 pounds to go back and get some more of it. But I can’t stop eating.”
