Ex-guard’s fears for Spears

Britney Spears‘ bloated former bodyguard said the hard-partying fallen star is an irrational drug-abuser who’s a danger to her children – and needs “urgent help.”

“This is a wake up call. Get help,” towering told Britain’s News of the World in an interview published today. “Think of the kids.”

The 6-foot-7 “Fat Tony,” who gave damning testimony in a Los Angeles court this week in a secret custody hearing, told the paper of three drug-fueled incidents.

The scariest night, he said, was May 2 at the posh Mondrian Hotel in L.A., where he was called to a hysterical Spears after some intense pre-concert partying with boy toy .

“We could see Britney all red-eyed from crying,” Barretto said.

The room was littered with dozens of empty mini-bottles and “on the surface of the dresser, I could see mounds of white powder and a straw on top. I suspect it was cocaine or methamphetamines,” said Barretto, who learned to identify various drugs as part of a police training course.

“She was in a terrible state, just sweating and shaking,” he said. “Her pupils were huge – I’ve never seen her so bad.”

Barretto also outlined a litany of bad mom moments, including allowing , 2, and , 1, to roam near the pool unsupervised, forgetting to feed them, and drinking in front of them.

“Often she would scream and cry uncontrollably” in their presence, he said. “All it does is unsettle, upset and scare them.”

His testimony last week prompted an outraged judge to not only order Spears to undergo twice weekly drug tests and spend eight hours a week with a parenting coach.

Spears is also hygienically challenged – “she burps and farts a lot,” Barretto said.

But that didn’t stop her from imposing strict rules for her staff, including:

* Don’t stink. “Make sure you use cologne and deodorant.

* Don’t sweat. “As a big guy, I was constantly having to wash my face.”

* Use mints. “[That is] so she can’t be disgusted by your breath.”

* Don’t stare. “Act coy when she walks around naked. Don’t look at her bottom when she is getting in and out of a vehicle.”
