A wrong number turned into a face-to-face meeting Wednesday between Zambian UN Ambassador Lazarous Kapambwe and students at West Orange HS in New Jersey. The Newark Star-Ledger reports Kapambwe last fall tried to phone a diplomat from Sierra Leone, but the number he dialed was one digit off. Instead, Kapambwe reached Logan Svitzer, who was sitting in his American history class, annoying his teacher, Robbin Sweeney. Sweeney spent 10 minutes on the phone with Kapambwe to verify his identity, and the envoy ended up speaking at the school to atone for the inconvenience.
