Danny Aiello onstage as Al Capone? The star of “Do the Right Thing” and a million other movies did a read-through for producers last night at Sardi’s of “Capone,” a one-man musical written by Robert Mitchell, who’s also penned shows about Joe DiMaggio and Vincent van Gogh. Aiello told Page Six, “It’s about Capone at the end, when he was ravaged by syphilis, and hallucinating. He’s a [bleep]-ing killer, but he talks to his wife, and Jesus, and his victims. It’s wild, funny and scary. It’s not caricature.”
