Mayor Bloomberg joked he was worried he wouldn’t be allowed into the QVC/Fashionable Footwear Association of New York Shoes on Sale event at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Rose Hall. After The Post revealed Bloomberg only owned two pairs of work shoes and hadn’t bought a new pair in 10 years, he joked to the crowd that he feared organizers “would turn me away at the door” in a speech to honor Sidney Kimmel of Jones Apparel and Ron Fromm of Brown Shoe Co. for their work to fight breast cancer. They were joined by Johnny Weir and the cast of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
