Newlywed LeBron James has opened up for the first time about his weekend wedding to college sweetheart Savannah Brinson, who he calls, “My queen.”
The pair were married on Saturday at the Posh Grand Del Mar Hotel, amid huge security with guests – including Jay Z and Beyonce and teammates Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade – asked not to tweet or post pictures.
Tonight LeBron posted two romantic pictures of the happy couple on his King James Instagram feed. In one shot he is seen kissing Savannah while on their honeymoon, while another the smiling pair cuddle up for the camera.
He wrote a sweet message, “When u have someone that’s always there for you no matter the ups and downs in life, it makes it all worth living for! So happy to call u Mrs. Savannah James #MyQueen #Backbone #QueenJames #Honeymoon.”
Two hours after posting the picture and the message, it had already amassed over 110,000 likes from fans
It was reported that the pair are honeymooning in Italy for a week after pictures surfaced of them leaving the airport in Rome.
