When you think of high-end product placement, Woody Allen doesn’t spring to mind. But shrewd fashionistas at a “Midnight in Paris” screening this week caught some fancy brands popping up in the picture. At the Cinema Society Soho Grand after-party, Lorenzo Martone said he loved the film, adding, “all that Goyard! Every time anyone had a bag, it was Goyard.” The observation was on the money. Sources say the luxe luggage line and other French brands, including Christian Dior, lent goods to the Woodman for “thank-yous” in the credits. Stylish folks at the screening included Nicole Miller, Erin Heatherton and Laura Brown.
