Kris Humphries gets a man cave

Kris Humphries has created the ultimate bachelor pad for himself, complete with multiple bars, reports say.

Just five weeks after splitting from wife Kim Kardashian, Humphries has already given his Minnesota home a manly makeover with the help of the DIY network show “Man Caves.” According to TMZ, the show’s hosts — contractor Jason Cameron and former NFL star Tony Siragusa — helped Humphries design the perfect “chill lounge” for a “guy on the rebound.”

Humphries had agreed to do the show before he and Kardashian separated, the site reports. The original plan was for the series to help newlywed Humphries create a space for alone time. His reality TV starlet wife was even supposed to be part of the episode.

But once Kim announced on Oct. 31 that she had filed for divorce from the former Nets star, Humphries reportedly asked the the show’s producers to go back to the drawing board and retinker his episode’s theme.

“Man Caves,” a popular series for the DIY network, operates on the idea that “guys need an exclusive space to hang out in their homes — a refuge where they can enjoy what they love, whether it’s a soundproofed basement used as a rock ‘n’ roll lounge … or a lush golf-lover’s paradise.” In the past, the show has created a poker haven, a muscle car retreat and a fantasy football den.

Humphries’ redesigned room boasts multiple bars and a 120 inch project screen, TMZ reports. It’s unclear when Humphries’ episode of the show will air.
