Rosie O’Donnell and wife Michelle Rounds have secretly adopted a baby girl called Dakota.
The comedian tweeted this afternoon of her adopted daughter, “we r thrilled to announce the arrival of r daughter Dakota – #withloveandthanks – AMEN”
O’Donnell also posted an Instagram pic of their new addition, in which she and Rounds are smiling ear-to-ear as they hold their baby girl.
The pair married in a private ceremony in New York on June 9, 2012.
O’Donnell suffered a heart attack in August, and Rounds also spent time in hospital after being diagnosed with Desmoid tumors.
O’Donnell has four other kids with ex-partner Kelli Carpenter. O’Donnell and Carpenter split up several years ago.
