The epidemic sweeping the nation has hit Hollywood: Betty White has the flu.
The ninety-year-old “is on the mend,” her rep told People.
White has been busy lately, filming her prank show, “Betty White’s Off Their Rockers” with celebrities like Kim Kardashian. The second season of the show just debuted on Tuesday night, and she’s prepping for her 91st birthday on Tuesday.
And up until recently, she was feeling great. “I can’t get over that at this age, I don’t feel this age,” she said in a recent interview. “I’m not trying to be any younger … I’m just at one of those good times in one’s life. I’m at one of the high spots. I’m healthy enough to enjoy it.”
White, however, is just the latest of countless Americans to be struck by the illness. According to CNN, 20 people under 18 and likely dozens of adults have died. Best wishes to Betty for a speedy recovery.
