WATCH: Mark Wahlberg does local weather and traffic report

Sensing a trend? After Scarlett Johansson briefly took over Al Roker’s duties on the “Today” show in November, Mark Wahlberg took a stab at announcing the day’s highs and lows.

Things got pretty exciting on the set of Fox 29’s “Good Day Philadelphia,” as Wahlberg and his “Broken City” director Allen Hughes delivered their mostly ad-libbed segment.

“This is perfect golf weather,” the “Ted” actor noted about the balmy 54 degrees in Philly.

Moving on after the seven-day forecast, Wahlberg and Hughes told locals where they’d expect traffic during their morning commute.

“Look at this congestion here,” Wahlberg said. “We’re expecting 40- to 45-minute delays if you’re coming east bound on the 676 here. You’re going to have some serious problems. Why don’t you stop and get yourself a hoagie?”

The two dropped by the studio to talk about their new movie when they took over the telecast.
