Apparently MTV loved the reaction to Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke’s controversial VMA perfomance, as the music network has invited them to appear at its European Music Awards.

The venerable cable network announced that both pop stars will appear on stage during the 20th installment of its European award show, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

It’s not known whether or not the two singers will take the stage together, but it’s surely something fans will be clamoring for, especially after the furor the duo caused at this year’s VMAs.

In August, the two combined for a medley of their smash hits “We Can’t Stop” and “Blurred Lines.” What may have at first just seemed like a simple mash-up of two radio hits, quickly mutated into a controversial twerk-a-thon that people are still talking about.

In addition to Cyrus and Thicke, the award show will also feature performances by Snoop Dogg, Imagine Dragons and Katy Perry.

The MTV EMAs will be held on November 10 in Amsterdam.
