Just a month after he broke his jaw in an accident at his Los Angeles home, actor Zac Efron was back smiling for the cameras.

The 26-year-old star posted a photograph of himself and Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay to his WhoSay page yesterday. Later, after the game, which the Colts won 25-3 over the Houston Texans, the “Paperboy” actor posed for another picture with Colts player Matt Overton. In both pictures, Efron can be seen sporting a blue Colts Santa hat.

Efron broke his jaw after slipping in a puddle at his home in mid November. The injury — which occurred just weeks after he reportedly left rehab for cocaine and alcohol abuse — was so severe that the actor had to have his jaw wired shut.

This is the second time the actor has been photographed since the accident. Earlier this month, the star was captured skateboarding, but not smiling, in Los Angeles.

The apparent speedy recovery is great news for Efron, though, whose next film, “That Award Moment,” is due out on January 31, 2014.
