Demi demands spousal support from Ashton in $290M divorce

Demi Moore is demanding spousal support and attorney fees from Ashton Kutcher in their divorce battle.

Page Six has obtained Moore’s legal documents filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court today, citing the old standby, irreconcilable differences.

The couple split in mid-November 2011 after six years together. After waiting more than a year, Kutcher filed for divorce in December 2012. As we reported, Moore struck back at Kutcher with her own filed application.

The financial stakes are high. CelebrityNetWorth.com reported in Nov. 2011 that they have a combined $290 million fortune. That year alone, Moore was rumored to be worth $150 million and Kutcher $140 million.

However, an insider told us this week, “Ashton made a lot of money after marrying Demi — a lot more than she made — but despite him becoming just as famous through her, he believes he doesn’t owe her that much.”

Kutcher is the highest-paid actor on TV, pulling in $24 million last year for “Two and a Half Men,” and he’s also become a savvy investor in various tech start-ups.

Kutcher’s being repped by LA celebrity lawyer Laura Wasser, while Moore’s retained powerhouse New York attorney William Beslow, who recently helped Linda Evangelista land a generous settlement in a child support battle with mogul François-Henri Pinault.
