Amid the search for a co-anchor to sit with Chris Cuomo on a new CNN morning program, the dapper Cuomo was spotted having breakfast with HLN anchor Robin Meade, who hosts HLN’s wake-up show “Morning Express with Robin Meade.” Spies said the two were hunkered down over a friendly breakfast at the JW Marriott Essex House. We reported new CNN honcho Jeff Zucker wanted Erin Burnett to be Cuomo’s co-anchor on the network’s new morning program. But Burnett refuses to give up her prime-time show, “Out Front” without a pay raise, and now Zucker has started to look for other candidates. A rep for CNN had no comment. Zucker’s next move should be to hire a rep who can comment.
