Russell Brand sued for $185K in damages for car crash suit

A man who claims that Russell Brand ran him over while he was walking in Los Angeles is seeking more than $185,000 in damages relating to the incident.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Victor Sneed claims that the British comic was driving “negligently” when the accident happened in Jan. 2012.

In the documents filed at LA County Superior court, Sneed says he suffered serious damage to his left hand, left arm, left hip, neck and left wrist, resulting in huge medical bills.

Sneed claims that he already paid $45,000 in medical expenses and requires another $140,000 for future operations.

Brand has denied responsibility, stating in his court papers in January of last year that he “denies both generally and specifically each, and every and all of the allegations contained in the complaint.”

The documents also claimed that “any injury or damage” suffered by Sneed was a “direct, proximate and sole result of plaintiff’s physical bodily condition and constitutional composition.”
