Justin Bieber sold out his Lisbon concert last night…probably because his fans only had one show to go to.
Portuguese Beliebers turned out in droves for the “Baby” singer’s performance at the 20,000 seat Atlantico pavilion last night.
Bieber bragged about selling out the show, tweeting: “PORTUGAL was RIGHT TONIGHT!! #SOLDOUT #BELIEVEtour”
The teen superstar famously pulled the plug on one of his two Lisbon shows last week, reportedly due to lagging ticket sales.
Local news reported that neither show was sold out, strongly hinting that Bieber cut his time in Lisbon short because he couldn’t generate enough heat for two gigs in the capital.
The local promoter cited “unforeseen circumstances” on its official Web site as the reason for the decision.
The cancellation was only the latest incident for the pint-sized heartthrob who had a drama-filled week in London, following his 19th birthday.
On Friday, Bieber had to be restrained by his own bodyguards after threatening to go after photographers shooting him on the street.
