Lindsay Lohan desperately wants to leave the Betty Ford Center where she is serving her 90-day lock-down rehab but prosecutors won’t let her fly the coop.
Over the weekend, Lohan was apparently stir crazy because doctors at Betty Ford took away her prescription Adderall which she takes for her ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder).
Deprived of her precious meds, Lohan researched other West Coast rehab facilities that are less “old school” than Betty Ford, according to TMZ.
The troubled actress believes that she’s found rehabs that will allow her to keep her Adderall and which prosecutors would find acceptable, but a law enforcement source says that a move is, “not gonna happen.”
“She had 45 days to find a suitable place. She didn’t listen to her people and just did what she wanted so it’s her problem now,” the law enforcement source told the gossip Web site.
Doctors at Betty Ford generally don’t allow patients to take Adderall because of it’s addictive qualities and because they believe that many Hollywood types use the drug to control their weight.
