“Housewives” and hedge funders mixed at the Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club on Saturday night for the Miracle House charity gala. Amid the crowd in sport coats and sweaters due to stormy weather, former Bravo star Carson Kressley was on the hunt for love: The “Queer Eye” guy explained to us that the Hamptons’ gay dating scene is a bit more buttoned-up than on Fire Island. “There’s a little more gingham going on here,” he observed. “In Fire Island, you get to see the whole package. Here, you have to discover it. I like the intrigue of that. It makes you wonder what is under those whale pants.” The event honored Miracle House supporters including LuAnn de Lesseps, who told us she’s this close to finalizing a deal to rejoin “The Real Housewives of New York City” after a contract standoff. “If I don’t do it, I’ll miss it,” she said. Also honored were NBC exec Gerry Logue and Surf Lodge guru Jayma Cardoso. Hedge funder and event chair Jim Chanos introduced Cardoso by telling the crowd how the nightlife queen — who’s been behind clubs such as Cain, Goldbar and Lavo — has kept even him waiting behind a velvet rope for entry to one of her spots. Chanos recalled a back-and-forth over how many bottles one needed to buy for entry, and Cardoso finally relented, telling him, “I like you. Come on in.” Singer Kristine W got the crowd moving after dinner with her performance.
