He should change his name. Richie Rich, co-founder of defunct fashion label Heatherette, allegedly skipped out on a $1,700 bill at the Times Square Westin with lingerie designer pal Chantelle Warr earlier this summer. After the duo bailed on the tab for the three-night stay ending June 10, they were arrested and hauled into court on misdemeanor theft-of-services charges. The kooky pair returned to a Manhattan court on Tuesday, but Rich, 44, took off shortly after he arrived and Judge Steven Statsinger issued an arrest warrant for the foundering fashionista, reports The Post’s Rebecca Rosenberg. The party boy turned designer strolled back into court Friday morning to turn himself in, looking haggard — his mascara smeared, blue nail polish chipped and dark circles under his eyes. “Fashion Week is going to be great this year,” he said smiling, wearing a stretched-out sweater and tired leather boots. The judge ordered him back in court this week. Rich launched Heatherette in 1991 with Traver Rains. The label drew a celebrity clientele including Pamela Anderson and Paris Hilton. Warr paid the outstanding bill, and the case against her will be tossed if she stays out of trouble for six months, prosecutors said.
