Stallone replaces Bruce Willis with Harrison Ford in ‘Expendables 3’after ‘Die Hard’ star demanded $1 million dollars a day

It was revealed earlier this week that Sly ditched Bruce Willis from his current project, “The Expendables 3,” quickly replacing him with fellow A-lister Harrison Ford.

The latest on the feud is that Willis was sacked because he refused producers’ offer of a whopping $3 million for four consecutive days’ work on location in Bulgaria, where the movie was being shot.

A source told The Hollywood Reporter: “He said he’d drop out unless he got $4 million. A million dollars a day. Stallone and everybody else involved said no.”

The “Rocky” star took to Twitter to blast the “Die Hard” actor as “greedy and lazy” and a “failure”, after announcing that Willis was out and Ford was in for the third film of his franchise.

Stallone didn’t seem to have any problems getting the “Indiana Jones” star on board either, reportedly locking him in within 72 hours.

“I think [Willis] was pretty surprised he was replaced in 72 hours by Harrison Ford – a better actor, a much nicer person and a more interesting direction for the film,” the source added.

A spokesman for Stallone confirmed he had been talking about Willis in the angry tweets but refused to comment further.

Willis has yet to comment on the blast.
