Real and faux pols party at Correspondents’ bash

Stars who play Washington, DC, pols and players on TV mingled with the real deal at Vanity Fair’s reception following the White House Correspondents’ Dinner Saturday. Spotted circulating was Kevin Spacey, aka devious Rep. Frank Underwood on “House of Cards,” Julia Louis-Dreyfus of HBO’s “Veep,” “Homeland” CIA agent Claire Danes and Kerry Washington, a DC crisis-management queen on “Scandal.” Adding to the intrigue were “Game of Thrones” epic schemers Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Natalie Dormer. Also in the mix at the residence of French ambassador Francois Delattre were real-life pols Mayor Bloomberg, Chris Christie and Rahm Emanuel, stars Michael Douglas (who’s played a pretty convincing commander-in-chief himself), Katy Perry, Nicole Kidman, Sofia Vergara, Barbra Streisand, Bradley Cooper, Ian McKellen, Gayle King and Paul Rudd and power brokers Barry Diller, Harvey Weinstein, Ron Meyer and Les Moonves.
