Tears come fast at Paul Walker funeral

Dozens of heartbroken stars and family members of late “Fast & Furious” actor Paul Walker gathered to say their tearful goodbyes at his funeral on Saturday.

Roughly 50 friends bit back tears as they paid their last respects at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery — the famous Hollywood graveyard where stars such as Liberace, John Ritter and Brittany Murphy were laid to rest.

Friends called the ceremony “somber.”

“A few people got up and gave tributes to Paul. It was hard for many people to talk, they were in tears and couldn’t finish what they were saying,” one funeral¬-goer told Us Weekly.

It was a really sad day for so many people, and you could tell they just weren’t ready to say goodbye,” the friend added.

“His parents were there, along with his brothers and some other family members. Everyone was hugging each other tight and didn’t want to let go.”

Walker — who died in a fiery car crash two weeks ago — was cremated and laid to rest at the famous graveyard two weeks to the day of his death.

The private, 40¬minute funeral featured a large photograph of Walker and dozens of white flowers surrounding the graveyard, according to the Daily Mail.

Other friends, including a former jiu-¬jitsu teacher Ricardo Miller, paid respects by posting comments on social media.

“[Paul] was determined to become a black belt. He said, ‘I will get my black belt, even if I need to get it in my coffin.’ Now in the wake of his death, I would like to reward Paul Walker the black belt that he wanted so much during his life,” Miller said.

At the ceremony, famous pals remembered him as determined actor who loved life.

An American flag was folded in a triangle to be displayed during the ceremony at the Court of Liberty,. It was later presented to the actor’s family.

At least three dozen mourners gathered underneath a green tent at the cemetery’s Court of Liberty, where they huddled around a framed portrait of Walker set on a nearby easel.

In attendance were his dad, Paul Sr., mom Cheryl, brothers Caleb and Cody, sisters Ashlie and Amie, and girlfriend Jasmine Pilchard-¬Gosnell.

Walker died while drag racing on November 30.

The 40-year-old star was driving a Porsche and may have hydroplaned, experts said.
