A guest heading to Ralph Lauren’s show on Thursday gave new meaning to the term “fashion victim.”
“A woman slipped on the ice on her way into the show and was knocked unconscious,” said a witness. “It was really scary. [But] she’s OK, and just had to get a CAT scan.”
Another source told us the woman was not unconscious, but hit her head, and that she’s recovering well. Fortunately, Lauren always keeps an ambulance on hand at shows. During Fashion Week, doctors were also on-site for shows at Lincoln Center in case of emergencies, but Lauren’s took place in the West Village.
