Lisa Bonder — the former tennis pro who has battled with billionaire Kirk Kerkorian since their four-week marriage in 1999 — is now in an ugly war with her latest husband, restaurateur Michael Gluckman.
When the two, who are duking it out in divorce court, bumped into each other on Sept. 24 at the landmark American Hotel in Sag Harbor, a drink was thrown, police were called, and Lisa’s friend Roxanne Briggs was charged with reckless endangerment and harassment.
“Bar fights in the American Hotel are not that common,” sniffed one regular.
The violence erupted as Gluckman was leaving the posh eatery with his young, blond girlfriend, Lila, who worked as a hostess last summer at his nearby Madison & Main restaurant.
“Lila saw Lisa and Roxanne on the couch near the front, and yelled at Lisa, ‘You bitter old woman!’ ” one source said. “Roxanne then threw a glass of wine at Lila, which shattered against the wall.”
Briggs, the wife of a local marina owner who has never been in trouble, just meant to douse the young woman and didn’t mean to let go of the glass, she told cops. She’s due back in court in December with her lawyer.
Edward Burke Jr. Bonder, 47, also has a daughter, Kira, 15, fathered by movie producer Steve Bing. But the girl is often referred to as Kerkorian’s daughter, because he continues to pay Bonder $100,000 a month in child support.
Kerkorian, 96, is frail and has not been seen in public since he celebrated his birthday at the Polo Lounge in the Beverly Hills Hotel in June 2012. Gluckman should seek his legal advice sooner rather than later.
