Dr. Ruth Westheimer was the biggest hit at this year’s Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC Partners 9/11 Charity Day, despite an injury.
“I broke my wrist and shoulder,” the sex therapist, wearing a sling, said. She added, “I tripped. I didn’t engage in sex, but I was thinking about it, and I fell.”
Dr. Ruth made calls on the trading floor, shouting out the promise that whoever got on the phone with her to buy or sell for charity would have good sex for life. “Who wants good sex?” she yelled.
“Can you call my wife?” responded one trader.
Julianne Moore giggled while pretending to take a sushi order, “Inside or out? Brown rice or crunchy?”
